"Amy understands the emotional significance of the grad school audition process and is a determined coach and cheerleader throughout. In addition to her fearless honesty and compassion for her clients, she's quick to identify range in a selection of monologues and insightfully tailor each one to highlight your unique attributes. Working with Amy not only resulted in acceptance to my top pick graduate program, but made the process of auditioning meaningful and fun, regardless of the results."

Amy's one of the most transformational actresses I’ve ever worked with. She has an incredible ability to nail the joke while still getting to the heart of a moment. Both require honesty and heart, and she has a lot of that.

As a coach, she was able to hear what I couldn’t. She’s amazing at lifting the text to elevate your choices so everything you’re trying to do is actually landing with the people on the other side of the table. She has a generosity and compassion for the task of acting, but she also knows when something isn’t working. It’s an amazing combination that makes it so easy to play, fail, and figure out the text with her. She made me feel so incredible confident going into my audition, and I had so much fun working with her in the process. If you can’t find joy in what you’re doing, why do it? Right?

"Amy was an amazing coach! At the last minute, she gave me a place to play, to make choices, make mistakes and have fun in my monologues. I couldn't have had the audition I did without the guidance, honest criticism and eventually, the confidence, that Amy instilled inme. I made end of day callbacks at UCSD and NYU, and I was offered a spot to come to UCSD"

“What is so wonderful about Amy is that she never let me off the hook. She was always direct, and refused to take anything less than my best. She turned Shakespeare from a daunting foreign language into a beautiful, comprehensible and fun challenge. After workingwith Amy, I was accepted into the MFA program at Brooklyn College. I truly feel like I have not only a coach who is on my team and rooting for me, but a friend in this extremely competitiveworld of acting.”

I had the privilege of training with Amy at the UCSD MFA program. While many of us needed coaxing to live truthfully while performing, she needed none. Amy is one of the fiercest actresses I've ever seen. She handles complex language with the very best of them, careens through roles requiring tremendous emotional heights, then softly slides into other subtle comedies and can have an audience laughing with just a flick of her chin. She has no limitations. I can't wait to work with her again.
